Miss India Parvathy Omanakuttan is the first runner up at the 58th Miss World Contest held at Johannesburg,South Africa. She also won the 3rd place for Miss World Top Model.
The Miss World crown went to Miss Russia and the second runner was Miss Trinidad & Tobago. There were over 109 contestants from across the world participating at this grand event. South Africa has been the only country that has played host to the Miss World Contest for the 6th time.
Miss India Parvathy Omanakuttan hails from God’s own country, Kerala.She is originally from Changanacherry in Kottayam in Kerala and now lives in Mumbai.She was born on 13th July 1987 and is 5′ 8.4″ tall. She was the hot favourite to win the Miss W orld ’08 Contest.
