The Government of Goa have outlined a host of Tourism projects in the state. These projects are under the policy of Public Private Participation (PPP) or Build own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis to make Goa a number one tourist destination in the country. Recently the Government launched the Life Safety Patrol on the beaches of Goa.The Tourism Department of Goa and Drishiti Adventures Sports Pvt. Ltd are working together to make the beaches of Goa safe for tourists.This project was launched to give a big boost to the tourism sector as the tourism industry in Goa is facing the heat of the global recession.
