IPL Auction held in Goa

IPLGoa’s  sun-kissed beaches and warm weather formed the backdrop for the auction of international cricketers  for the second season of the Indian Premier League cricket event.

The eight teams, with some of the biggest names in international cricket, will come together for the Twenty20 event that will unfold in April.

Players of Pakistan will be missing this round of Twenty20 action. Andrew Flintoff also became the most expensive player after being sold for a whopping $1.55 million (appr Rs 7.35 crore).

So also Bangladesh bowler Mashrafe Mortaza created quite a sensation as he became the costliest player from his country to be sold in the Indian Premier League players.
