All the die-hard addicts of TV soap operas can look forward to their daily fix once again as entertainment channels get ready to resume airing new episodes on 1st December.
TV workers had called off a strike — that started on November 10 — demanding higher wages and better working conditions after reaching an understanding with producers. After a month-long dispute, producers and the Federation of Western Cine Employees agreed that those in low-wage brackets would get higher pay, but there would be no increase for those at higher levels.
