The Indian Idol 5 winner is Sreeram Chandra!! The wait is finally over and it is curtains to the tense moments of all. The top 3 finalists Bhoomi Trivedi, Rakesh Maini and Sreeram Chandra competed for the coveted Indian Idol 5, but finally it was Sreeram Chandra who was crowned Indian Idol 5.
After all votes were tabulated, Sreeram Chandra was announced as Winner by Amitabh Bachchan, with Bhoomi in second, and Rakesh in third.

Technically speaking, all three finalists – Bhoomi Trivedi, Rakesh Maini and Sreeram Chandra have any particular flaws, which the judges were able to spot. However, at this point, the judges’ observation does not count since the Indian Idol 5 has boiled down to audience poll to decide the winner. This means, the Indian Idol 5 winner needs something more than flawless singing.
The beautiful Kareena Kapoor is the guest of honor in the finale and has spiced up the Indian Idol 5 grand finale event.
One have to say these three finalists that got to the finale are Bhoomi Trivedi, Sreeram and Rakesh have done exceptionally well to come this far. As such, the efforts of these three need to be appreciated.
