Rajkumar Hirani’s latest release ‘3 Idiots’ is breaking all records at the box-office. Now that the talented filmmaker is done with ‘3 Idiots’, he plans to go back to his old success formula and create yet another sequel to Munnabhai series.
The project in pipeline is ‘Munnabhai Chale Amrika’ and Rajkumar Hirani will get into serious action to give shape to this project. We hear that the filmmaker is keen to finish shooting for this film by end of 2010. No points for guessing that the film will star the original jodi of Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi playing Munna and Circuit.
Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003) was the first film in the popular Munna Bhai series of Bollywood. It stars Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Jimmy Shergill, Sunil Dutt, Gracy Singh and Boman Irani.
The sequel was titled Lage Raho Munna Bhai and it starred Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and Vidya Balan in lead roles.
Here’s hoping year 2010 will light up with another genuine film in the Munnabhai series.
