Lucy Liu to film in India

Hollywood actress Lucy Liu will be soon visiting India to direct a short film in Mumbai. The Charlie’s Angels actress is turning a director along with the other two actresses of Hollywood – Meryl Streep and Angelina Jolie.

These three ladies will make a four-segment, all-women feature film which will be shot in four continents. Lucy’s segment is on human trafficking and will have the critically acclaimed Indian actress Tannishtha Chatterjee in lead. The film which is tentatively titled ‘Half The Sky’ will be shot over the next week in Mumbai.

Tannishtha tells a daily, “It’s a very big Hollywood project,” and chose not to talk about it further. It’s too early, isn’t it!

The famous actresses are turning directors. A coming of age!
