Governor SS Sidhu, Chief Minister Digambar Kamat and Opposition leader Manohar Parrikar greeted Goans on the occasion of Christmas.
In his message Sidhu said, “We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, who gave us the valuable message of peace, tolerance, compassion, love and brotherhood. It is an appropriate occasion for us to carry the spirit of Christmas to foster the values that Jesus Christ professed and practiced for the benefit of humanity.
In his message Kamat said that in Goa, Christmas displays traditional ethos and culture of land. The opposition leader also extended warm greeting to the people of Goa and wished a prosperous 2010.
